1. Behaviours and Consequences

Lesson Plan – Resource ID No: EDU1

This resource Students will define a number of behavioural styles and examine how effective they are. They will examine their own approach to stressful situations and how they deal with them and come to understand their own patterns of behaviour, and how actions result in consequences.

This learning resource has five parts that can be completed individually or grouped together depending on the target group or time allocated for the lesson.

Resources required:

Activity One – Watch a short video of Indigenous leaders talking about behaviours and consequences ‐ you will need access to a computer or projector to show the video to the group, you may want to do this before each session depending on the group.

Activity Two – Group discussion and Brainstorm – access to butchers paper or a Smart board to record outcomes.

Note: The following three activities should be attempt concurrently as they build on from each other.

Activity Three – Reflection and group discussion, you will need to print off appendix 1 for each student.

Activity Four – Discussion and personal reflection, you will need to print off appendix 2 for each student.
