This resource looks at the self-awareness topic of ‘learning styles’. The student will develop an understanding of the topic in order to identify and adapt their study skills to diverse learning situations and requirements.
This learning resource has three parts that can be completed individually or grouped together depending on the target group or time allocated for the lesson.
Resources required:
Activity one – Group discussion – you will need access to the Internet and projector for the video, also print off the flash cards (appendix 1) to assist with discussion.
Activity Two – Group exercise – the teacher will need the instructions printed off (appendix 2) or if doing in small groups 1 set of instructions for the team leader. You will also need three A4 sheets of paper per‐student. This exercise can be done outside if not windy.
Activity three – Understanding of knowledge ‐ Individual exercises, you will need to print off appendix 3 worksheets.
